TOUCH Hours
TOUCH stands for Translating Osteopathic Understanding into Community Health. Students will have the opportunity to give back to the community by leaving their campuses to serve the community, interact with future patients, learn about the needs of their communities, and much more! TOUCH hours must be an activity that works to improve the health and wellness of a community that incorporates osteopathic tenets, awareness, principles, and practice. For example, MedAchieve would count as a TOUCH hours program since it is a program that involves teaching high school students. However, shadowing a physician for hours would not count as TOUCH hours but rather as volunteer hours. In order to log hours, just visit this website: https://www.trackitforward.com/ , make an account and start logging your hours! Please remember to not submit your hours in a bulk, but rather in increments for the days you participated in getting TOUCH hours. The deadline for TOUCH hours will be April 20th, anything input after that date will not be able to be approved so get your hours in quick!
